Artwork Meaning:

This design is based on Matthew 28:19 ‘The Great Commission’.

The sun at the top represents God and His love raining down on earth.

The rainbow reminds us of God’s promises.

Jesus is at the centre of the artwork represented through the white cross. The cross reminds us of God’s love and the connection between God and his creation that is only possible through Jesus dying on the cross.

At the base of the cross is us (God’s people) represented in the black circle. This circle also has yellow and white dots to show God and Jesus in and with us.

There are 5 pathways that are leading out form the circle that represents us.

The paths have yellow and white dots that represent God and Jesus and each path has a different meaning:

• One represents our faith going out to the community.
• Another the word of God going out to the world.
• Another represents our gifts and talents going out.
• Another the Holy Spirit going out.
• Another represents God and our love going out.

The circles around the paths represent our family, friends and community that we hope to reach.
